Adult Retreat
An Adult Retreat was held September 20-21, 2008. Held in conjunction with the Virginia Chapter of NHF, the retreat was held at the Natural Bridge Hotel in lovely Natural Bridge, VA. The program was held on both Saturday and Sunday, with plenty of time for socializing and sharing as well. Sunday’s program featured Inalex Communications speaker Ron Potter-Efron, PhD, who spoke on “Getting Your Head on Straight”, exploring how people are adept at creating needless pain and useless suffering, why we do this, and how we can move from pessimism to optimism.
